# The AHM classification The full classification of the Alphabet of the Human Mind, volumes 1 and 2: four stages of diagnosis, psychotypes, crutches, flows and composite symptoms. One term, one line, in the words the books use for it. The reasoning, the cases, the stories and the psychotherapy method itself stayed in the books — this page points at them, it does not stand in for them. - Alphabet of the Human Mind — 436 pages, ISBN 978-5-0070-0555-5 — https://ridero.ru/books/alphabet_of_the_human_mind/ - Alphabet of the Human Mind 2 — 308 pages, ISBN 978-5-0070-7783-5 — https://ridero.ru/books/alphabet_of_the_human_mind_2/ This file is an index to the books. It is built together with the site from the same source as the page, so it cannot go stale on its own. How a diagnosis reads An AHM diagnosis is one positional line: the status, the group with its role prefix, the mask in brackets, the contact type, the crutches and their level. What the line leaves out was not diagnosed — a gap means «unknown», never «none». Source: AHM, volumes 1 and 2 GCM EOP (S) = Generally Complex type of Mind (healthy) · Strong supports TLC PG = Type of a Human Personality (borderline) · Superiority Group PPM PG BPT KOM (L) = Superiority Group · non-contact psychic type · European crutches (KOM) · good crutches PPM AR-AG (EM) BPT KOM (M) = traumatizing role · Aggressive Group · empathic mask · non-contact psychic type · European crutches (KOM) · average crutches PPPM AG KPT SKOM = Aggressive Group · contact psychic type · Soviet crutches · acute (full) PPM PPM AG (EM) BPT SKOM RI = Aggressive Group · empathic mask · non-contact psychic type · Soviet crutches · reflex idiocy ### Four Stages of Diagnosis The order in which an AHM diagnosis is built: PPM or GCM first, then the group (EG, PG, AG), then the type (KFT, KPT, BFT, BPT), then the crutches (EKOM, SKOM, VPKOM, DPKOM, PPKOM). Classification goes on only when the first stage has established PPM. ### Preliminary Diagnosis A diagnosis made before meeting the person — not from the person but from the statistics of a place or from what is known about him. Its purpose is to decide in advance whether to go there, and with what caution. ### Tentative Diagnosis An approximate diagnosis with a known margin of error, made in the first seconds of personal contact. It is enough to choose safe adaptive psychotherapy, where even a mistaken diagnosis does no harm. ### Exact Diagnosis The gold standard of diagnosis: unlike the preliminary and the tentative one it carries no built-in margin of error, and it demands either long observation or a very high level of psychoanalysis. ### Full Diagnosis Record The line that puts group, type, crutch kind and crutch level in a row: "PPM PG BPT KOM (L)". The mask goes in brackets after the group, and the role prefix in front of it: "PPM AR-AG (EM) BPT KOM (M)". ### PPM Observation Card The form in which long-term observation is kept: the name, the preliminary diagnosis (PPM or GCM), the form, the type and the crutches, an RI mark and numbered situations. It may be a real card or a mental one. The L/M/S level is written for EKOMs only. PPPM takes the place of PPM, and RI is appended at the end with a list of names. ## 2. The AHM compass Four sides of the inner world and the centre between them: north is health, east is empathy, south is aggression, west is superiority, the centre is PPM. The compass sets the order of everything else in the classification. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### AHM Compass The core diagram of AHM and its emblem: a mental, not geographic, compass — four cardinal points as the four poles a person lives between, plus the center. A green arrow up points to GCM, a red one down to PPM; the compass gives direction only, the eight steps give the scale. ### North: Health The upper side of the compass, given to mental health (PZCH) — the one pole the green arrow leads to. North is cold: a healthy mind stays cold to the symptoms of illness, sees manipulation and provocation, and chooses its own reaction. ### East: Empathy The side of the compass given to the Empathic Group (EG): the pole of Unreasonable Empathy, one of the three directions branching out from the center, PPM. ### South: Aggression The side of the compass given to the Aggressive Group (AG): the pole of Unreasonable Aggression, one of the three directions branching out from the center, PPM. ### West: Superiority The side of the compass given to the Superiority Group (PG): the pole of Unreasonable Greatness, one of the three directions branching out from the center, PPM. ### Center: PPM The center of the compass — the common root of the three group sides: they are not three different illnesses but three manifestations of one Particularly Primitive type of Mind (PPM). ## 3. Stage 1. The status The first question: do the Generally Complex judgements take the upper hand. For a healthy mind the diagnosis stops right here — there is nothing further to classify. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### GCM — Generally Complex type of Mind (healthy) Generally Complex type of Mind: OSS take the upper hand in every judgement. The personality is many-sided and resists classification — for a GCM the diagnosis stops at the first stage. Rests on the Natural Supports (Mind, Wisdom); no crutches needed. ### TLC — Type of a Human Personality (borderline) Type of a Human Personality: the mind takes in at least some OSS. Sits on the border of the AHM logo between a healthy and a sick psyche; steps 4–6 of the scale. Can fall and climb back out; in a diagnosis it is written, for example, «TLC PG». ### PPM — Particularly Primitive type of Mind (diagnosis) Particularly Primitive type of Mind — a sign of a psychic disorder: OSS can never take the upper hand, KPS always win (the PPM Loop). «One convolution», running in one direction only. The centre of the AHM compass. ### PZCH — Mentally Healthy Person A person in whom OSS prevails in every judgement: the Mind takes each KPS that appears and turns it into an OSS. Not dispassionate — aggression, kindness and greatness are all there, but every one of them is thought through. ### OF — Open Form The state of the illness in which a PPM's symptoms come out and become dangerous to other people: Unreasonable Aggression turns into insults and even physical injury. ### ZF — Closed Form The state in which the illness is there but does not spill outward, and the PPM is minimally dangerous to others. Moving a PPM from the Open Form into the Closed one counts as a victory of psychotherapy. ### Borderline Zone The band on the AHM logo between the healthy and the sick psyche. A psychotype there keeps falling below the line and climbing back; the closer it stands to the line from above, the less envy is left in it. ## 4. Stage 2. The group Which unreasonable flow prevails, and what the PPM wants to look like. The group is also a side of the AHM compass and the shape of the node on a scheme. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### EG — Empathic Group Unreasonable Empathy (UE) prevails — the first reaction to everything. Wants to look kind. Dangerous through complicity: the perfect instrument in an aggressor's hands. The east of the AHM compass. ### PG — Superiority Group Unreasonable Greatness (UG/MDS) prevails. Wants to look grand; needs to keep «recharging» on KOMs. The key to the PG is respect; responds to psychotherapy better than the others. The west of the AHM compass. ### AG — Aggressive Group Unreasonable Aggression (UA) prevails — the «bacilli of idiocy», the carrier of PPM. Wants to look strong; only restraining psychotherapy is possible. The source of the most dangerous flows. The south of the AHM compass. ## 5. Stage 3. The type How exactly a PPM reaches you: with their own hands or through other people, close up or at a distance, through the body or through the psyche. One example — a child on a bicycle — runs through all four. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### KFT — contact physical type Needs physical contact: waits for the Child to get on the bicycle and kicks it over. Gets into a fight easily, can damage health or property. ### KPT — contact psychic type A contact psychic attack: waits for a conversation and tells a story that plants anxiety into every later memory of the bicycle. ### BFT — non-contact physical type Physical harm at a distance: cuts the brake cable and drives off fishing. «Will not hit — will spoil. Quietly, on the sly, by other people's hands». ### BPT — non-contact psychic type A psychic attack at a distance: leaves a videotape of a monster eating children on bicycles to plant the anxiety — and drives off fishing. ### KT — Contact Type The generic PPM type that needs contact with other people to realise its symptoms. It divides into KFT and KPT, and stands opposite BT. ### BT — Contactless Type The generic PPM type that needs no contact: it works at the level of hypersensitivity, or sets a trap in advance and walks away. It divides into BFT and BPT. ### GCH — Hypersensitivity A symptom every PPM carries: an inner radar scanning other people's mood, intonation, micro-movements and weak spots around the clock. The worse the carrier's own state, the more precisely he strikes. ### Contact Hypersensitivity The mode of GCH during contact: a PPM reads the other person's state down to a micro-tension in the shoulders and answers it with a symptom on the spot. ### Contactless Hypersensitivity The mode of GCH at a distance: a PPM's reaction arises with no contact at all and beyond the reach of direct perception. ## 6. Stage 4. The crutches The Crutches of Public Opinion are what a PPM stands on in society. Here too: what happens when the crutches are lost. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### EKOM — European crutches (KOM) The European and American KOMs of world NLP: they let a PPM behave like a PZCH for a while, in certain places. Levels L/M/S apply to EKOMs only; in the books «KOM» means an EKOM by default. ### SKOM — Soviet crutches Crutches from the time of the Soviet persecution of the Talented; very close to losing the KOMs altogether, or to an OF PPM. A PPM on SKOMs feels no shame and masks no symptom — «an open book». ### VPKOM — temporary loss of crutches «Off the rails» for a time: control is lost briefly and comes back. ### DPKOM — prolonged loss of crutches The crutches are gone for weeks, for months. Serious. ### PPKOM — permanent loss of crutches Irreversible without professional help. ### L — Large — good crutches The PPM stands on good KOMs and from the outside resembles a PZCH. Written as: KOM (L). ### M — Middle — average crutches Average crutches of public opinion. ### S — Small — poor crutches Poor crutches: close to the symptoms showing openly. ### Psychic Crutches The generic name for everything a sick psyche leans on for a while: on crutches a PPM looks and works like a capable person. They come as aggressive, empathic, superiority and curative ones. ### LKOM — Curative Crutches of Public Opinion The crutches AHM gives in exchange for KOM: they force a person to reach for the Natural Supports of the psyche and train them, so that GCM grows stronger. They work only when the patient admits his own symptoms. ### KBP — Crutches of the Sick Psyche The support a PPM draws not from society but from the symptom itself: only after realising Unreasonable Aggression can he count himself healthy for a while — and then it all repeats. The L/M/S levels apply to EKOMs only — «SKOM (M)» never occurs in the books. ## 7. Masks What a PPM covers their group with. In a diagnosis the mask follows the group in brackets. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### EM — empathic mask The «kind», «sheep» mask; typical of a PPM AG who has noticed that nobody talks to them while their UA is in plain sight. «The finer the mask, the more dangerous the one wearing it». ### PM — superiority mask The «grand» mask; usually worn by PPMs of the AG who believe a PPM PG has «beaten» them. ### AM — aggressive mask Often worn by PPMs of the EG as a way to fight off the PPMs around them crossing into their personal space; not an effective enough way. ## 8. Roles in a team Who takes the blow, who restores, who strikes. In a diagnosis the role is glued to the group as a prefix: PR-, ER-, AR-. Source: AHM, volume 2 ### Tank — resilient role Takes on every heavy psychic situation: stands in the front row and pulls incoming aggression onto their own psychic barriers. The enemy team's goal is to knock the Tank «off the crutches». Written in a role diagnosis as PR-. In a diagnosis: PR- ### Healer — restoring role Restores morale, mood and VPECH/PECH — the Tank's first of all. Not necessarily an empath; vulnerable to attacks themselves. Written as ER-. In a diagnosis: ER- ### Damager — traumatizing role Specialises in the most destructive psychic blows and spends a lifetime perfecting them: causing discomfort is their crutch. Written as AR-. In a diagnosis: AR- ## 9. Marks Two marks that are appended to a diagnosis and change how it reads. Source: AHM, volumes 1 and 2 ### RI — reflex idiocy Reflex Idiocy: a PPM takes in nothing new about one particular person (old imaginary «wars») — any thought of them puts the PPM into an OF straight away. Steps 2–3 of the envy scheme are skipped: from the first step straight to the fourth. RI is added to the diagnosis with a list of names: PPM AG (EM) BPT SKOM RI (Vasya, Petya). ### V — Temporary Psychotype The badge "V" in front of a diagnosis: the psychotype holds this position only for a time. Contact with a higher psychotype raises the bar for a while, injuries lower it, and heavy ones lower it for good. ### VOSM — Temporary GCM Temporary psychic health: a psychotype that has risen to GCM for a time. ### VTLCH — Temporary Borderline Psychotype The badge saying a psychotype has risen to the borderline level only for a time, written "PPM -> VTLCH". ### VKPM — Temporary PPM A psychotype that has dropped to PPM for a time — after KPS have managed to wound a healthy psyche, for instance. ### VPKPM — Temporary PPPM A psychotype that has dropped to PPPM for a time: the crutches are still there, but the support of OSS is already gone. ## 10. The Natural Supports of the Psyche The scale of the healthy side: how strong the supports are that a person stands on without psychic crutches. In a diagnosis: EOP and the level in brackets. Source: AHM, volume 2 ### D — Developing supports The stage of an almost complete crossing from the borderline zone to a GCM: the supports are not fully grown yet, but psychic crutches are no longer needed (a child with a healthy psyche, or someone recovering after trauma). ### W — Weak supports Weak but already developed Natural Supports of the Psyche. ### M — Middle supports Decent Natural Supports of the Psyche. ### S — Strong supports Well-developed supports — «better than the most expensive psychic crutches there are». A GCM with EOP (S) is a strong, healthy adult. ### MAX — maximal supports The strongest supports an ordinary person can have: «narcissists and psychopaths bounce off a psyche like that as if they were balls». ### I — Indestructible supports Indestructible supports (the level of Saints): the signs of a GCM remain even in the hardest situations. ## 11. The ladder: from the bottom to the summit Eight steps of the way from a sick psyche to a healthy one, in the order they are walked. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### Step 1. The bottom PPMs with a permanent, lasting or temporary loss of their SKOMs or KOMs: people who are legally incapable or only partly capable, and whose Open Fit of PPM cannot turn into a Closed one. ### Step 2. Soviet Crutches PPMs living on SKOMs: the symptoms look almost like an Open Fit, but fellow PPMs approve every one of them, so the sick psyche feels normal for a while — normal only among the equally mad. ### Step 3. Good Crutches PPMs living on KOMs: they handle the Crutches of Public Opinion so well that they are hard to tell from mentally healthy people — until their status is touched and the crutches give way under the load. ### Step 4. Treatment begins PPMs on KOMs plus LKOMs: restraining non-violent psychotherapy is at work — the Curative Crutches force the person to turn to their own EOPs, the Natural Supports of the Psyche, and develop them. ### Step 5. First shoots PPMs on KOMs and LKOMs with the first sprouts of a GCM: the beginnings of a Personality revived by restraining NP AHM, after which curative-restraining and curative psychotherapy join in to strengthen it. ### Step 6. The home stretch The PPM has been moved off KOMs entirely onto LKOMs, and the GCM has grown strong enough to work on its own. A Personality held by LKOMs plus GCM — the home stretch to a fully formed GCM. ### Step 7. Healthy, but scarred GCM plus LKOMs: a mentally healthy person who still carries injuries of the psyche, childhood ones among them, and so falls back on LKOMs now and then in order to stand on their EOPs or their own GCM again. ### Step 8. The summit GCM: a many-sided Personality with a settled Healthy Psyche. No crutches, no masks, no imaginary battles — every level of the Human Psyche is developed and every OSS is in its place. ## 12. The graph of respect Five categories: how much respect a psychotype earns, how rare it is and what is possible with it at all. The category follows from the status, the supports and the acute form. Source: AHM, volume 2 ### Royal psychotype A GCM with EOP (D, W, M, S, MAX, I). The highest respect; roughly one in a million. In adaptive conversation — «a psychotype worth a billion». ### Noble psychotype A borderline (on the border of the AHM logo). A high level of respect; one in a thousand. In conversation — «a million-dollar psychotype». ### Business psychotype Some PPMs of the EG and of the PG (a mild form only, on good KOMs), very rarely of the AG — there is both a chance and a wish to get better. Cooperation is possible: plain work. ### Problematic psychotype A PPM is a diagnosis already, but we say «psychotype» so as not to provoke an Open Fit. Mostly restraining psychotherapy. ### Acute psychotype (PPPM) PPPM — a Full PPM: a permanent Open Fit, an unbroken PPM Loop, not a single OSS. Restraining psychotherapy only; better to keep contact to a minimum. ## 13. Flows What runs between people. The unreasonable ones are the elementary symptoms everything else is built from; the reasonable ones are the same act coming from a healthy psyche. On a scheme a symptom is drawn as a torn line and a reasonable current as a solid one. Source: AHM, volume 2 ### UA — Unreasonable Aggression The nastiest and the most frequent symptom; a Crutch of the Sick Psyche. «Aggression flows are the main ones on a scheme, by a huge margin». Red, thick, with an animated current. ### UE — Unreasonable Empathy «Kindness as a payoff»: UE flows do not live long and become the cause of targeted Unreasonable Aggression themselves. Green-yellow. ### UG — Unreasonable Greatness «Grandeur nobody can see»: most of it runs inside the psyche. The world of the Superiority Group — of narcissists. Gold/violet. ### Contact Verbal / visual / tactile / territorial / attention contact. The whole envy scheme starts with contact; the more kinds of contact there are, the more ways the symptom has to play out. Thin grey. ### Envy A numbered step (1–5) of the five-step envy scheme of a PPM AG: Contact → Unreasonable anxiety → Envy → Open Fit → UA Fit. Orange, with the number of the step on it. ### Two beats The «kindness as bait» composite symptom: beat 1 is visible kindness (handing over a sweet, calling oneself a friend), beat 2 is the aggression the whole thing was started for. A green→red gradient. ### RA — Reasonable Aggression Aggression with a cause and a measure: defending oneself or another, pushing back an attack, a hard boundary. Not a Crutch of the Sick Psyche but the natural reaction of a GCM — it ends together with its reason, and it is addressed to the source, not to whoever turned up first. ### RE — Reasonable Empathy The opposite of UE: help given for a real need, not «kindness as a payoff» for the sake of looking kind. It asks nothing back and therefore never turns into targeted aggression when nothing comes back. ### RG — Reasonable Greatness The opposite of UG: greatness confirmed by deeds and visible from the outside, not staged inside the psyche. It needs no retinue and no devaluing of anyone else. ### Transition — a change of psychotype Not a flow between people but a move along the ladder: the psychotype went up or down. The arrow leads from the former state to the new one — upward (PPM → Borderline → GCM) or downward. Drawn as a double line: a metamorphosis, not an emotion. ## 14. The hierarchy of symptoms Symptoms are built in tiers: the basic ones, the elementary ones above them — Unreasonable Aggression, Empathy and Greatness — and out of the elementary ones the composite symptoms, which is to say manipulations. Source: AHM, volume 2 ### Step 1. Contact Step one of the envy scheme: contact with a person — physical or psychic, near, remote or even imagined. Without contact the scheme does not start. ### Step 2. Unreasonable anxiety Step two of the envy scheme: the anxiety that smoulders in a PPM AG at all times. Looking into his own ruined psyche he finds emptiness, and the defence mechanism switches on at once. ### Step 3. Envy Step three of the envy scheme: a substitution of causes — instead of treating his own disorder the PPM AG blames another person for his anxiety and tries to destroy the object of envy. ### Step 4. Open Fit Step four of the envy scheme: the malicious primitive judgements that used to fly inside the sick psyche break out and pass on to step five — a fit of the elementary symptom. ### Step 5. A fit of Unreasonable Aggression Step five of the envy scheme: a crime against the person, his psyche, physical health, family and property. Open or masked; limited by the means of the PPM AG and by your psychic defence. ### Hierarchical classification of symptoms Three floors of symptoms: basic at the bottom, elementary above them, composite at the top. Each upper floor inherits the properties of the lower ones, so therapy strikes the foundation and the load-bearing bricks. ### Basic symptoms The bottom floor of the hierarchy — KPS: the judgements of a sick psyche that later acquire a form and a type and serve as the base for every other symptom. ### Elementary symptoms The middle floor of the hierarchy: three load-bearing bricks — UA, UE and UG, one per form of the sick psyche. Each of them inherits every property of the basic symptom, KPS. ### Composite symptoms The top floor of the hierarchy: a sequence of several elementary symptoms repeated in the same situations as a ready-made program. They inherit the properties of the elementary and the basic ones; their second name is psychic scenarios. ### Open Fit of PPM The state in which malicious primitive judgements break out of the sick psyche: a fit of the elementary symptom starts here. Psychotherapy aims to return the fit to its sleeping, closed state. ### ZP — Closed Fit The state the Open Fit passes into when the illness goes back under its mask; for PPMs on the first step of the scale this transition is impossible. ### Open fits Fits with no masking: in essence a permanent Open Fit of PPM. They happen at the stages of losing the psychic crutches — VPKOM, DPKOM, PPKOM — and such people are isolated from society fairly quickly. ### Masked fits Fits a PPM has learned to play out without punishment: humiliation under constant contact, attempts to sow anxiety, unreasonable guilt, greatness, aggression, empathy. They work by accumulation. ### PPM Loop The closed cycle in which a healthy or generally complex judgement instantly throws the PPM into an Open Fit and turns into a KPS at once: every attempt of the psyche to recover is put out by its own defence. ### Envy scheme The five-step scheme by which envy flares up in a PPM AG: contact, unreasonable anxiety, envy, Open Fit, a fit of Unreasonable Aggression. It is set off at every contact. ### Kindness scheme The experimental parallel of the envy scheme for a PPM EG: contact, unreasonable guilt, Open Fit, a fit of Unreasonable Empathy, masked or open. ### Grandeur scheme The experimental parallel of the envy scheme for a PPM PG: contact, unreasonable despair, Open Fit, a fit of Unreasonable Greatness, masked or open. ### TOA — Aggression Reference Point The pretext from which a PPM AG starts taking his flows of aggression out on people who are not to blame for his diagnosis. The pretext is nearly always invented or negligible, yet it has to look convincing to the public. ### Coefficient of relativity The hidden multiplier of the aggression reference point: the more adequate psychotypes there are around, the harder it is to find a convincing pretext, and where the pretext is doubtful the flows of aggression turn back on the accuser. ## 15. Composite symptoms A manipulation is not a flow but a conspiracy: it is built from elementary symptoms and it costs both sides energy. Each one below carries what it is built from, what it costs and how it works, step by step. Source: AHM, volumes 1 and 2 ### The trio pact Three PPMs of the AG agree to tell an empath one and the same thing. To sink a colleague, to take someone's partner, to squeeze a person out of a team — the uses are many. What works is not the strength of the flow but its repetition out of several trusted mouths. Built from: UA 1. Contact. All three need contact with the target — a conversation, a shared room, any foothold. Without it the victim easily proves the story was invented. 2. The order of trust. The manipulators know whom the empath trusts and in what order: the middling trust first, the strongest one after. 3. The first aggression flow. A psychopath or a sociopath — more often out of the PPM group, because they understand how it works — attacks with slander and plants a doubt in the empath. 4. Confirmation. The empath goes to ask again: the middling trusted person first, the most trusted one after. All three have the same invented story, with the victim shown in an unbecoming light — this is an attack on reputation. 5. Someone else's thought taken for one's own. Having heard the same thing from three trusted people, the empath starts to hold the conclusion as his own. Empathic blindness and empathic certainty do the work here: he keeps the decision because too many people have tried to talk him off his path before. 6. Execution. The manipulation has worked — from here the empath attacks the victim himself: fires her, or puts her on a blacklist. There is almost no way back from there. ### Flying monkeys Used mostly by PPMs of the PG (narcissists). The attack does not come directly but through other people: acquaintances, relatives, colleagues — the «flying monkeys» the manipulator aims at the victim, each with a manipulation of its own. Built from: UA 1. By other people's hands. The manipulator does not attack in person: other people are aimed at the victim, each with a manipulation of their own. 2. An effect, not a blow. The goal is not one hurt but a state the victim cannot get out of by herself. 3. Weaken, or implant. Through the go-betweens the victim is either worn down or given someone else's fantasy — and that fantasy starts to count as her own. 4. The target is a trusting empath. A PPM EG is especially exposed: the channel of the attack is that very trust in the go-betweens. ### Love bombing Used by PPMs of the PG (narcissists), sometimes by PPMs of the AG (psychopaths). The task is one — to make the victim fall in love; only the technique differs. Built from: UE + UG · His: 50% · Hers: a minus first, then the collapse 1. The goal is falling in love. This is not courtship but an instrument: to attach fast and hard. 2. A narcissist does it for show. Bouquets, presents, declarations: the visible side, built for effect. 3. A psychopath is subtler. He mirrors the victim's emotions, so fewer visible bouquets are needed: she hears «her own». ### Discard Mostly PPMs of the PG (narcissists): the break-up has to look like the other person's doing, so the partner is driven to leave on their own. Built from: UA + UE 1. Not to look like the villain. How it looks from the outside matters to a narcissist, so the one who leaves must not be him. 2. The relationship is made unbearable. The partner is steadily driven to her own decision to go. 3. She left by herself — so it is her own fault. The role of the abandoned one stays with the manipulator. 4. A PPM AG does it differently. A psychopath does not care how it looks: an unprofitable project is simply forgotten and left behind. ### Mirroring PPMs of the AG (psychopaths): there is no self-identification, they recognise themselves through other people — and take only the best from there. Built from: UE + UG 1. No support of one's own. A PPM AG has no «neural net» for self-identification: they define themselves through other people. 2. Only the best is taken. Whatever looks like a winning trait goes into the image. 3. The reflection is not of the partner. The mirror shows not the woman herself but what she dreamed of, and the qualities of the people she likes. 4. An assembled image. It can be put together out of several people — an ideal that does not exist. ### Silent treatment The favourite of PPMs of the PG (narcissists) and of the AG: it costs the offender NOTHING — he simply does nothing — while the victim spends a whole day on guesswork. The most profitable manipulation of them all: maximum damage at zero price. Built from: UA + UG · His: 0% · Hers: 75% 1. A disappearance without notice. The answers stop with no row and no reason — the explanation is withheld on purpose, because it would close the question. 2. The victim does the work. She invents what happened and punishes herself for it, while the offender does nothing at all in the meantime. 3. A return with no reckoning. Contact resumes as if nothing had happened — there is nothing to discuss, so it can be repeated at any moment. ### Passive aggression PPMs of the PG and of the EG: the aggression is served so that it cannot be produced as evidence — a tone, a sigh, «do as you like, then». Free for the offender, expensive for the victim: she feels the blow and cannot point to it. Built from: UA + UE · His: 0% · Hers: 50% 1. A blow with no shape. The displeasure comes through a tone, a pause, a «no, nothing» — words nothing can be pinned on. 2. A refusal to admit it. To a direct question — «you imagined it»: the victim is left with a feeling nothing confirms. 3. Accumulation. Each episode is cheap on its own, so it repeats often, and the bill grows for the victim, not for the offender. ### Devaluation More often PPMs of the PG (narcissists), but available to all three groups: someone else's achievement is reduced to nothing in a single phrase. One hit costs the victim a medium price, but devaluation works CUMULATIVELY — a month later the person cuts herself down to «nothing» without any help. Built from: UG + UA · His: 5% · Hers: 25% 1. A small correction. Not an argument and not a refusal — «well yes, not bad, but…»: the blow is always smaller than a reason to quarrel. 2. The scale is shifted. Success is re-described as luck, help as something owed, effort as the norm. 3. The victim adopts the scale. After a while she devalues herself, and the offender is no longer needed for it. ### Grievance as leverage PPMs of the EG (histrionics) and of the PG: the grievance is not lived through but presented — it is steered. It costs the offender almost nothing, and the victim pays in guilt and does what nobody asked for out loud. Built from: UE + UA · His: 5% · Hers: 50% 1. A grievance on display. The state is shown so that it cannot be missed — and cannot be called a demand either. 2. There is no request. With no request there is nothing to refuse — the victim guesses and does it herself. 3. Paid in guilt. What she pays with is not the deed but the guilt, which stays even after everything is done. ### Blame shifting PPMs of the AG and of the PG: a conversation about what the offender did ends as a hearing about what the victim did. It costs him little — the topic has to be turned at the right moment — and the victim leaves the conversation guilty of somebody else's act. Built from: UA + UG · His: 10% · Hers: 25% 1. The turn. The question «why did you do it» becomes «well, and what about you back then». 2. The roles swap. The accused becomes the accuser before the victim can get back to what she started with. 3. The topic is closed. The original act is never dealt with — which means it will happen again. ### Intermittent reinforcement PPMs of the PG and of the AG: warmth is given UNPREDICTABLY — now it is there, now it is not. It costs the offender a medium effort and the victim the maximum: unpredictable reinforcement holds tighter than a steady one and does not let go even after she has left. Built from: UE + UA · His: 25% · Hers: 100% 1. Warmth without a rule. Good things happen, but never on merit and never on a schedule. 2. The victim looks for the pattern. All her energy goes into finding what «worked» — and there is no pattern. 3. The bond is stronger than steady warmth. A rare, random reward holds longer than a constant one: what keeps her from leaving is hope, not the good. ### Gaslighting PPMs of the AG (psychopaths) and of the PG: the victim is convinced that her memory and her perception are lying. The only manipulation that is expensive for the offender too — holding up a second version of reality takes constant work. Built from: UA + UG · His: 75% · Hers: 100% 1. The fact is denied. «That never happened», «you made it up» — said confidently and without anger. 2. A second reality. The offender maintains a coherent alternative version: that is exactly his expense, and that is why gaslighting is never a background activity. 3. The victim stops believing herself. The support of her own perception is destroyed — hence the maximum price and the longest recovery. ### Manufactured conflict PPMs of the AG: a row is made out of nothing when a pretext is needed — to leave, to drop a promise, to justify what they have done. Expensive for the victim, but ACUTE: it comes fast and lets go just as fast once the pretext is taken apart. Built from: UA · His: 10% · Hers: 50% 1. A pretext out of thin air. The complaint is picked for the convenience of the moment, not for its content. 2. Escalation. The conversation moves quickly from the pretext to the person — a row like that cannot end in agreement. 3. The result gets used. The row becomes the justification for what had been planned in advance. ### Ghosting A disappearance for good: contact is cut with no explanation, and it is not coming back. It costs the offender nothing; the victim finishes the relationship for him — invents the reason, hunts for the fault in herself. In a PPM PG it is UG («I am above goodbyes»), in a PPM AG — UA served as absence. Built from: UA + UG · His: 0% · Hers: 75% 1. A cut-off with no notice. Messages stop landing, meetings stop being set, and there will be no explanation — an explanation would close the question. 2. The victim ends the relationship herself: cycles through reasons, writes «final» messages, appoints herself the guilty one. 3. There is no return. The question stays open forever — that is the price the victim pays and the saving the offender keeps. ### Caspering «Friendly ghosting»: a kindness before the disappearance («you are wonderful, it is not about me… that is, not about you») — and then the same cut-off for good. The kindness is an anaesthetic for the OFFENDER'S conscience, not for the victim: what it leaves her is hope, and hope keeps the wound open longer than an honest «no» would. Built from: UE + UA · His: 5% · Hers: 75% 1. Beat 1 — visible kindness: a warm farewell message or praise with no specifics. It sounds like care and works like anaesthesia. 2. Beat 2 — the disappearance: contact is cut exactly as in ghosting, but the victim is left holding the hope that «we parted well». 3. The hope does the work. The victim waits for a continuation that is not coming, able neither to end the relationship nor to carry it on. ### Triangulation The favourite of PPMs of the PG (narcissists), seen among the AG as well: a third person is brought in between the two — an ex, a colleague, «a friend» — and the conversation about what actually happened turns into a competition for the place beside him. It costs the offender next to nothing: the third only has to be MENTIONED, never argued for. Built from: UG + UA 1. The third appears. Not an accusation and not a comparison said out loud, just a mention: «here is my ex», a photograph, a story, someone else's name left in the chat. 2. The question is swapped. Her own subject — «why did you not answer for three days» — goes away, and another one takes its place: «who is she to you». 3. The competition starts. The victim begins proving she is better than the third person, spending herself on a comparison nobody ever announced. 4. The offender takes no part. He claimed nothing and promised nothing, so there is nothing to ask him about: «you made it up yourself». 5. «Let us rather talk about us.» The conversation comes back — but not to where it started: the first question is closed without ever being answered. Not every one has a price: where the author never named one, no number stands here — an invented figure is worse than an empty space. ## 16. The price in energy The unit is a percent of the daily norm of psychic energy: «minus 50%» reads as «half a day». The words come from the author’s table; the percentages are their only numeric reading. Source: AHM, volumes 1 and 2 ### 0% — Zero ### 5% — Very low ### 10% — Low ### 25% — Medium ### 50% — High ### 75% — Very high ### 100% — Maximum ### PECH — Psychic Energy of a Person The psyche's resource: it is spent on communication — the closer the perimeter, the more — and drains fast through breaches at the highest levels. Carriers of PPM feel a show of PECH as a red rag and aim to traumatise the person at that very moment. ### VPECH — Virtual Psychic Energy of a Person Not extra energy but permission to reach one's own PECH — the key to a locked cupboard. It is issued only after a symptom has been shown (UA, UE or MDS), which is why a PPM is doomed to keep showing symptoms. ### Breach Damage to a level of the psyche left by a KPS that did not burn out: it leaks down onto the floors below, so aim, coordination, speed and the course of thought suffer and the whole psyche works two to three times worse for the day. ### Energy vampirism The mechanism by which a PPM refills its Psychic Energy at someone else's expense. Nothing mystical moves: no energy flows across — an act in the outer world grants the PPM permission to reach its own PECH. ### Royal Capital A person's wealth in every side of life at once — the nine chests a truly rich person owns simultaneously. Not a bank account: the account is only one of the chests, and far from the main one. ### Healthy Psyche (first chest) The first chest of the Royal Capital: a healthy psyche with Inspiration in every undertaking and Confidence in every situation. This chest cannot be faked and cannot be stolen — it can only be grown by oneself. ### Wisdom (second chest) The second chest of the Royal Capital: a long-term planning horizon — the ability to see the whole picture, understand consequences and tell the important from the urgent. ### Mind (third chest) The third chest of the Royal Capital: living, working thought. Not well-read knowledge, erudition or a diploma, but an instrument that can think about the task at hand right now. ### Strength (fourth chest) The fourth chest of the Royal Capital: physical endurance — the ability to carry a load and to keep working when others have already given up. ### Assets (fifth chest) The fifth chest of the Royal Capital: everything that brings in money without demanding daily personal labour. It belongs to the Controlled Territory level of the PMLPCH. ### Liabilities (sixth chest) The sixth chest of the Royal Capital: property a person uses himself and that serves his life rather than earning income. It sits at the Controlled Territory level of the PMLPCH. ### Money and equivalent valuables (seventh chest) The seventh chest of the Royal Capital: live money in accounts and in cash, precious metals and other liquid instruments. It sits at the Controlled Territory level of the PMLPCH. ### Business connections (eighth chest) The eighth chest of the Royal Capital: the circle of people one can turn to with a business question and get an honest, professional answer. ### Friends (ninth chest) The ninth chest of the Royal Capital: people one can call in the middle of the night and get an honest agreement to help. Friends are never many, each one a treasure of its own, and this chest is out of a PPM's reach. While the offender HOLDS a manipulation, they lose another 10% of a daily norm every hour. The ceiling is 100%: past a daily norm a person is already borrowing, and drawing more would pretend the scale can carry it. ## 17. The model of the psyche What a person is made of in AHM: the levels of the psyche, the judgements that live on them, and what holds those levels up — supports in a healthy mind, crutches in a sick one. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### LPCH — Personal Space of a Person The space a Psychically Healthy Person rules as a Tsar: a multi-level structure from Healthy Psyche at the centre to controlled territory on the outside. Its highest levels are Confidence and Inspiration, and a formed LPCH is beyond a PPM's reach. ### MLPCH — Model of the Personal Space of a Person The general name of the model that maps a person's Personal Space as levels. The books give it in two editions: the simplified five-level UMLPCH and the full PMLPCH. ### UMLPCH — Simplified Model of the Personal Space of a Person The simplified edition of the MLPCH: five levels running from the Level of Healthy Psyche to the Level of Controlled Territory. The deeper the level, the harder it is to reach and the more dangerous to lose. ### PMLPCH — Full Model of the Personal Space of a Person The full edition of the MLPCH: Mind, Wisdom, the Strength to endure hardship, Loyalty, Confidence and the material fourth level. Real friendship and Love require every level at once, and the highest levels are beyond a PPM's grasp. ### Inner world The filling of the psyche's levels with living OSS and EOP: what a Psychically Healthy Person has and a PPM lacks, its supports replaced there by KOM. Gaining an inner world of one's own is the result of AHM psychotherapy. ### PNB — Non-violent Psychiatric Hospital A model of a country as a non-violent psychiatric system: an organisation is a branch of the PNB of the country it works in. The books distinguish three variants: Role-based, Acute and Acute-Role PNB. ### Role-based PNB The variant of the PNB used by the USA and Europe. ### Acute PNB The variant of the PNB integrated across the post-Soviet space. ### Acute-Role PNB The intermediate variant of the PNB that took shape in Russia, which has only partly touched the Role-based PNB. ### Level of the Healthy Psyche The first and highest level of the Model of the Personal Space: Confidence, Hope and Inspiration, with the I at the very centre. In the full model it is the red circle, and almost no one can enter it — which is as it should be. ### Level of Wisdom The second level of the Model of the Personal Space: the floor of Wisdom. In the full model it stands in the green circle together with Mind and the Gift of the Word (Eloquence), and it is impossible without Mind — there is nothing to understand with. ### Level of Mind The third level of the Model of the Personal Space: the floor of Mind. The most concrete of the levels of a healthy psyche and therefore the one a PPM grasps best — development of the GCM begins here. ### Physical Level (the Body) The fourth level of the Model of the Personal Space: the physical body, and with it Reaction, Agility and Strength. In the full model it is the circle of dense protective armour. ### Level of Controlled Territory The fifth and outermost level of the Model of the Personal Space: the territory a person disposes of. It is the outer yard — everything external, which can be lost and regained. ### Mind The capacity of a healthy psyche answered by an OSS of the 1st degree and, in a sick psyche, by stupidity. Mind is developed first, and Wisdom comes through a Mind matured and worked over the years. ### Wisdom The generalising capacity of a healthy psyche, answered by an OSS of the 2nd degree and, in a sick psyche, by delusion. Wisdom cannot be had instantly, and no KPS exists or can exist on this level. ### Inspiration The highest capacity of a healthy psyche, answered by an OSS of the 3rd degree and, in a sick psyche, by idiocy. It is in essence the level of Love, but AHM deliberately avoids that word: talk of it can set off an Open Fit in a PPM. ### OSS — Generally Complex Judgement The judgement of mentally healthy people; an OSS cannot be put into YAPS. The book compares an OSS to a small source of light with a million rays, and there are many such sources, while a KPS is a single ray that does not know which way to turn. ### OSS of the 1st degree A clever thought: an OSS of the lowest and most concrete floor, the Level of Mind. For a healthy psyche lifting it is as easy as a one-kilogram dumbbell is for a healthy body. ### OSS of the 2nd degree A wise thought: an OSS of the generalised floor, the Level of Wisdom. It is obtained only through a matured Mind, the way wine is obtained through the ripening of the vine. ### OSS of the 3rd degree An OSS rising to the level of inspiration and faith, the highest floor of the scheme. In psychotherapy this level is to be touched by an AHM PRO and no one else. ### KPS — Particularly Primitive Judgement The root of every mental illness: remove it and a person becomes mentally healthy. A KPS is easy to recognise, it is always particular and primitive; only a YAPS judgement, deliberate and aimed at the therapy of others, can be mistaken for one. ### Stupidity (KPS of the 1st degree) A KPS on the Level of Mind. On contact with Psychic Health it simply ceases to exist, and to a PPM that feels like a short lash of a whip across his pride. ### Delusion (KPS of the 2nd degree) A KPS that has climbed to the Level of Wisdom: a generalisation disguised as virtue that has seized a whole layer of perception. It is delusion in the strict medical sense, and parting with it feels to a PPM like a noose. ### Idiocy (KPS of the 3rd degree) The extreme degree of a primitive judgement, one that has crept onto the level where a healthy person keeps inspiration and faith. Meeting Psychic Health, it burns up at once in the fire of a healthy psyche. ### EOP — Natural Supports of the Psyche Natural intelligence, confidence and wisdom, Generally Complex in nature and present only in a GCM. In mentally healthy people they stand where a PPM has the artificial KOM crutches. ## 18. Language and judgements What a sick psyche speaks in, and which language can reach it at all. This is a classification too: each language has its own name and its own range. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### YAPS — Language of Primitive Judgements A language built inside AHM for speaking with PPMs: it is used to phrase requests, negotiate, protect Children and Empaths and carry out AHM Non-violent Psychotherapy (NP AHM). Not a lowering of one's own level but a working tool. ### SYAPS — Judgement of the Language of Primitive Judgements The key unit of YAPS: on the outside an ordinary KPS, which a PPM lets through unchecked into every level of its Personal Space, and on the inside a folded OSS that unfolds from within. ### YAD — Language of the Mentally Ill The language of a sick psyche, shared generously by the PPMs around: it works through pricks of conscience, the fire of shame, the nooses of delusion and the whips of humiliation, and unlike YAPS it destroys. ### YAPZ — Language of Mentally Healthy People The language of the New Matrix: direct, adult, Reasonable conversation with those whose GCM is developing fast or is already fully developed. ### SPYA — Free Psychic Language A way of speaking about symptoms directly: instead of arguing the substance of a conflict, a person answers its cause and names the symptom standing behind the accusation. ### MKPS — Matrix of Particularly Primitive Judgements The matrix of Particularly Primitive Judgements that hail down from mentally ill people, from the television screen, from the radio and from the internet. ### NMKPS — New MKPS A new MKPS aimed at treating or subduing PPM symptoms. A person builds this matrix around themselves, drawing on AHM knowledge and skills: it is needed as a non-violent self-defence of one's own mental health. ### SMKPS — Old MKPS The old MKPS, or NLP: KPS aimed at destroying a person's mental health, mental ability and whole inner world for primitive ends. The pressure is strong, but the KOM crutches keep a PPM from reaching the extreme stage. ## 19. Kinds of psychotherapy Non-violent AHM psychotherapy is divided by its task — to restrain, to heal, to restore; and by its quality it has classes, from preliminary to destructive. Source: AHM, volumes 1 and 2 ### NP AHM — Nonviolent AHM Psychotherapy The gentle, non-coercive mode of treatment: a PPM is shown his symptoms and moved onto LKOMs, which start the EOPs on their own. It acts on symptoms alone, and divides into kinds by task and by presence of contact. ### SNP AHM — Restraining non-violent AHM psychotherapy The kind of NP AHM applied at the Restraining Nonviolent Wards (SNO-1, SNO-2, SNO-3): it keeps a PPM from moving into an Open Fit and, when needed, returns it to a Closed one. ### LNP AHM — Curative non-violent AHM psychotherapy The kind of NP AHM that develops and strengthens the GCM, on oneself or as advice to a person moved to LNO; it reinforces KOMs and replaces them with LKOMs without any radical change of lifestyle. ### LSNP AHM — Curative-restraining non-violent AHM psychotherapy The third mode of NP AHM, joining the curative and the restraining: a session in which a PPM is restrained and treated at the same time. It is conducted under the rules for an AHM PRO. ### UNP AHM — Strengthening non-violent AHM psychotherapy The kind of NP AHM applied before an attack, lowering its effectiveness; it exists for each of the three levels of PECH. ### VNP AHM — Restorative non-violent AHM psychotherapy The kind of NP AHM applied after an attack, returning the PECH that was spent; it also removes a KPS stuck at the level of the Mind. ### ENP AHM — Experimental Non-Violent AHM Psychotherapy The AHM testing protocol that AHM puts in place of the IQ test: the task is not to measure intelligence but to see a GCM — what a person answers from in a new situation, from KOMs or from EOPs. ### Contact NP AHM The form of NP AHM held in live contact with the carrier of the symptom: naming the signs of one's own GCM and the PPM symptoms calmly, objectively and without going personal. Always unique, it needs context and extra care at the high levels of the psyche. ### Contactless NP AHM The form of NP AHM that works without direct contact: it reaches the PPM through his hypersensitivity, by presence, behaviour and choice of words. The safest form; it easily moves a PPM from SNO-3 to SNO-2 or SNO-1. ### LNM — Treatment by Nonviolent Methods Treatment of the psyche by nonviolent methods, the main one being Curative NP AHM. Unlike SNM, it aims at recovery itself. ### SNM — Restraint by Nonviolent Methods Restraint of a PPM by nonviolent methods, the main one being Restraining NP AHM. It supplements LNM, or replaces it when the PPM refuses voluntary contact or there is no time or room in the nonviolent wards. ### PLNM — Psychiatric Treatment by Nonviolent Methods Psychiatric treatment by nonviolent methods, which a PPM does not have and has nowhere to get: without it he does not win the fight against his own symptoms and does not break through the defence of the GCM. ### ONP AHM — Erroneous psychotherapy Psychotherapy carried out on a wrongly made diagnosis. As a rule it turns into destructive psychotherapy instead of curative, and knocks the PPM off his KOMs. ### DNP AHM — Destructive psychotherapy Any influence that destroys the psyche, following either from erroneous psychotherapy or from the healer's own symptoms. NLP, transurfing, astrology and every crime directed at children are counted here. ### NNP AHM — Zero psychotherapy NP AHM applied to a healthy psyche: there are no symptoms there, and the therapy acts on symptoms alone, so the effect is nil. Such work can only traumatise a healthy psyche and lower the psychotype. ### PNP AHM — Preliminary psychotherapy A set of measures safe for the GCM, taken on a tentative PPM diagnosis: to avoid needless contact and to give the symptoms no room to be realised. The cheapest of the classes; it uses Psychic Barriers, psychic hygiene or the AUM. ### ZNP AHM — Belated psychotherapy The psychotherapy by which whoever skipped the preliminary one has to clear the situation up. It eats too much strength and resources and leaves losses that cannot be recovered, the most expensive class of all. ### INP AHM — Intuitive psychotherapy Psychotherapy formed innately, by heredity and above all by experience, without knowledge of the classification. It can be quite effective, but only in narrow, familiar conditions. ### ZELNP AHM — Green psychotherapy Psychotherapy taken on by someone who has only just picked up the most basic knowledge: no context, no experience of observation, no telling symptoms apart, so a wrong diagnosis appears already at the experimental stage. ## 20. The named therapies The techniques of non-violent psychotherapy, each carrying its own name in the books. The names and what each one does are here; how to use them is in the books. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### Ignore therapy A restraining technique: intelligent ignoring of a PPM, up to a blacklist, which leaves Unreasonable Aggression without a target. It precedes moving the PPM to SNO-3 and calls for a step weighed from every position. ### Coolness therapy A harsh kind of Ignore therapy for moving an uninteresting PPM to SNO-3: the offer to imagine that he does not exist. It sobers one inclined to GCM and restrains the rest. ### Flaunt therapy A restraining technique: a PPM is given several empty facts to envy, so that Unreasonable Aggression follows a false trail while the real life, property and plans stay safe. ### Dignity therapy A restraining technique for PPMs of the Superiority Group: skilfully giving them KOMs of respect through SYAPSes, so that a PG PPM takes the respect for real and does not move against you. ### Truth therapy A restraining technique for PPMs of the Superiority Group: building SYAPSes as close to truth and fact as possible, because PG respects truth in its primitive form and its own greatness. ### Kindness therapy A restraining technique for PPMs of the Empathic Group, turning their prevailing symptom UE to your own benefit. It has two subclasses, Gift therapy and Favour therapy. ### Gift therapy A subclass of Kindness therapy and at the same time a subtype of Respect therapy: a gift that steers a PPM's UE into a reasonable channel. Its meaning depends on the group: astonishing for EG, respectful for PG, restraining for AG. ### Favour therapy A subclass of Kindness therapy: doing a favour for a PPM with his group always taken into account. An EG PPM answers with a bigger favour, a PG PPM starts to respect and defend, and an AG PPM on a mistake moves into an Open Fit. ### Request therapy A restraining technique for a PPM of the Aggressive Group: inventing all sorts of requests for him. It leaves him less time for attacks, and the inversion of roles puts an AG PPM into a stupor. ### Hint therapy A restraining technique: a hint or a direct question to an AG PPM about having a mental disorder, in person or through third parties. It sobers, because every PPM fears seeing his illness from inside. ### Laughter therapy A competent SYAPS delivered as a joke. It can act as restraining, curative or restorative NP AHM: it moves a PPM into the Closed Form or develops the GCM. ### Anger therapy A technique of lawful and deliberate expression of all three kinds of anger, turning Unreasonable Aggression into Reasonable. It spends a great deal of PECH and is advised only for an AHM PRO, mostly contactless. ### Banknote therapy A restraining technique: carrying a stack of large banknotes, because AG PPMs truly respect only money and cannot speak badly of it while remaining adequate. ### Time therapy A restraining technique: taking a time interval in contact with a PPM of the Aggressive Group, answering a letter not at once and calling back when his Open Fit has settled. ### Calmness therapy A restraining technique for PPMs of the Aggressive Group: answering every KPS very calmly and precisely, denying them the inadequate reaction they expect. ### Argument therapy A restraining technique matched to the group: for an AG PPM, primitive arguments that make clear he is at fault and precisely through his PPM; for a PG PPM, arguments weighed from every position, to which there is nothing to object. ### Game therapy (Success therapy) A curative technique: winning a small virtual battle or finishing a small task, gaining confidence and transferring it to real life at once. ### Sport therapy A curative technique: working off the anger boiling inside on gym equipment and thereby turning Unreasonable Aggression into Reasonable and deliberate. ### Coin therapy A curative technique: putting down a coin, unnoticed by the PPMs around, as a reminder of one's own initiative. The coin is a physical symbol of confidence that keeps PECH high and the initiative alive. ### Car therapy NP AHM in road conditions: recognising a PPM's group in advance, doing nothing good for AG PPMs and giving them no contact, while keeping a calm and confident driving style. ### Purchase therapy A kind of Success therapy: making more small but useful purchases that realise long-standing ideas and dreams. The limit is the full recovery of PECH at all levels. ### Sleeping therapy A curative technique: arranging the means for good sleep, with a doctor if needed, because deep sleep restores PECH at all levels and denies PPMs an attack on a tired person. ### Cat therapy A technique of contact with a mentally healthy cat: it gives a PPM a live example of how to react to those around without Unreasonable Aggression, MDS and other symptoms, that is, as a PZCH does. ### Watch therapy The useful side of the constant watch scenario: the answering move follows the moment a PPM goes into an Open Fit, and the psychotype abandons the plan before it has begun. ## 21. Models of communication The levels of a relationship with a PPM — from refusing contact entirely to working cooperation. The model follows the diagnosis, not the mood. Source: AHM, volume 1 ### GCM — GCM combination The model of communication between two mentally healthy people: the space of communication widens, PECH is restored naturally, and real friendship and love become possible. NP AHM is not applied here — it does not work on a formed GCM, and there is nothing to treat. ### GCM — PPM combination The model of communication between a mentally healthy person and a mentally ill one: without a structure it either drains or destroys, so the healthy side distributes PPM around five nonviolent wards. AHM treats such communication as self-defence. ### Nonviolent clinic of five wards The structure of communication between a mentally healthy person and a PPM: five wards invisible to onlookers — LNO (DNO), LSNO, SNO-1, SNO-2, SNO-3. A ward is not a label but a mode of work: which NP AHM to apply, how often, at what rate and with what expectations. ### LNO (DNO) — Curative (Voluntary) Nonviolent Ward The first ward of the clinic: curative and voluntary mean the same thing here, because the restoration of GCM is possible only voluntarily, on the PPM's own side. The ward of future healthy people — from this ward on, communication pays back. ### LSNO — Curative and Restraining Nonviolent Ward The second ward of the clinic: curative communication goes side by side with restraining one — the PPM shows signs of GCM, but not steadily, so voluntary work alone is not enough and mild restraining NP AHM accompanies the curative kind. ### SNO-1 — Restraining Nonviolent Ward of the first level The first restraining ward: for PPM who show no signs of GCM but with whom communication cannot be avoided. Only the mildest kinds of restraining NP AHM are used — a harsh one such a PPM takes as an attack, and goes into an Open Fit more often. ### SNO-2 — Restraining Nonviolent Ward of the second level The ward of medium hardness — for PPM with whom contact is rare and irregular: by duty, and not on a daily basis. Harsh NP AHM is undesirable here, because of the risk of needless conflicts. ### SNO-3 — Restraining Nonviolent Ward of the third level The most distant restraining ward: uninteresting and dangerous PPM are moved here, first of all those of the Aggressive Group. The move requires a very deliberate step and is preceded by Ignore therapy or Coolness therapy. ### SNO — Non-Violent Subduing Ward The common name of the SNO-1, SNO-2 and SNO-3 wards in the five-ward non-violent clinic. Subduing there is carried out with SNP AHM, the Non-Violent Subduing AHM Psychotherapy. ## 22. Defence What a healthy psyche closes itself with: barriers, psychic hygiene, and the points at which a scheme can be cut off before it reaches its end. Source: AHM, volume 2 ### Defense from the First Step The first breaking point of the envy scheme: diagnose the state accurately at the very first step and at once let the PPM carrier feel that he exists, through a prepared piece of news or a pleasant conversation. ### Defense from the Second Step: the American Smile The second breaking point: interception at the anxiety step, where a smile tells the PPM carrier that he exists, so the remaining steps become unnecessary to him. The subtlety is leaving the contact in time. ### Defense from the Third Step: Substituting the Object of Envy The third breaking point: move the envy onto an object that cannot be measured against under the circumstances, so the contest inside the ill psyche never takes place and the Open Fit dies down. ### Defense from the Fourth Step: Damping the Attack The fourth breaking point: returning an Open Fit to its dormant, closed state by naming the symptom or the diagnosis outright and holding the dialogue to the symptoms as they are. ### Defense from the Fifth Step The fifth breaking point: self-defense once the attack has already become a crime. The means are physical, psychic — the straitjackets of the third millennium — and mental: psychological constructs and psychic tactics. ### Aggressive Psychic Barrier An external barrier: a mask of heightened aggression worn so as not to be taken for an empathic psychotype and to lower the chance of attack. ### AUM — Ulu-Mulu Artifact A set of commonly recognised status artifacts a mentally healthy person carries so that PPM carriers of the Aggressive Group do not trigger Unreasonable Aggression. AUM is an applied interface between a GCM and primitive thinking. ### Beauty Barrier The barrier given by physical beauty: faced with a beautiful person, even an aggressive psychotype slows down and does not dare realise a symptom. ### Constant Growth Psychic Barrier The barrier of pace: while envy ripens into an attack along the envy scheme, the project ships its next stage, so the envier has to start envying from scratch until he tires. ### External Psychic Barriers Barriers that stop other people's symptoms, letting neither the symptom nor its realisation into your life. The blocking happens inside the other person's psyche, which makes the notion a relative one. ### Fictitious Object of Envy A protective measure against PPM carriers: a decoy target that draws off their envy and their blows so that the real object of envy stays out of the line of fire. ### First Meeting Psychic Barrier The barrier of a first acquaintance: on a first meeting people try to please, and even an AG PPM carrier blocks his symptoms fully or partly. It can also be a trap, the symptoms held back for realisation later. ### Internal Psychic Barriers Barriers that keep one's own symptoms from activating and from reaching one level or another of one's psyche, no matter how someone tries to trigger them. ### Mirror Psychic Barrier A purely defensive kind of external aggressive barrier: every attack meets a guaranteed mirrored reply. Knowing the reply is inevitable, a PPM carrier's psyche damps the symptom down at an early stage by itself. ### Natural Psychic Barriers Barriers a person supplies himself: intelligence, wisdom, confidence, inspiration. They matter most where a symptom has already reached the level of thinking; mostly internal, they also work outwards. ### Psychic Barriers Anything that blocks a symptom and rests on a scientific cause-and-effect link. Barriers divide into external and internal, and each one is set against a specific symptom of a specific psychotype, or it will not hold. ### Psychic Defense The state a psychic blockade is turned into: the organisers in the rear are isolated physically, the executor psychically, the rest are grown into borderline types, and the defense rises from the very group that ran the destruction. ### Psychic Hygiene The habit of keeping one's own psyche clean and guarded: as ordinary hygiene protects the body from infection, psychic hygiene protects the psyche from PPM contagion. Its core rule is that a trauma is easy to inflict and hard to treat. ### Psychic Immunity A composite property of the psyche that protects both against contagion from an ill psyche nearby and against one's own reflex and associative symptoms firing. One of its main factors is a large reserve of psychic energy. ### Sexual Psychic Barrier A barrier raised by the fear of losing face before the opposite sex: an attractive person enters a PPM carrier's value system, and that blocks the activation and realisation of symptoms aimed at him or her. ### Time Psychic Barrier The barrier of a pause: processes grown on symptoms do not live long without feeding, and by the next meeting the symptom may have ceased to exist. ## 23. Scales and lists Five lists AHM measures with — the situation around a person, and the readiness of the one who treats them: the circles of the personal perimeter, the levels of corporate aggression, the channels of public aggression, the disclosure groups of an illness, and the supports of psychic literacy. Source: AHM, volume 2 ### First support: the psychotype of the one who treats The first and weightiest support of psychic literacy is the specialist's own mental health: a GCM, or the closest psychotype to it. Otherwise help turns into a psychic battle or a philosophical conversation. ### Flows of Personal Aggression The first level of aggression flows by scale: aggression coming from a single person. ### Intimate Perimeter The first of the five perimeters of the personality: the circle kept for oneself and one's other half. Only a healthy psychotype may enter it; to PPM carriers it is closed at the level of the subconscious. ### Level 1. Sellers of Aggression The lowest of the five levels of corporate aggression: crime is legalised and profitable, internal flows discharge onto one another, and aggression is also sold to outsiders as a ready-made discharge point. ### Light disclosure group The first of the three disclosure groups of illness: it is cured in a week or two, any moderately qualified specialist can diagnose it, the patient accepts the diagnosis without argument, and it shames no one. ### Close Perimeter The second perimeter of the personality: the people one is constantly in the same room with, or meets regularly. ### Flows of Collective Aggression The second level of aggression flows by scale: aggression coming from a group. It belongs to the second category of external interference, the most dangerous one. ### Level 2. Servile The second level of corporate aggression: a useful act by an employee draws a collective attack along the patterns of envy. Aggression here is hard to prove and low in severity. ### Medium disclosure group The second disclosure group: the illness is serious, incurable or slow and hard to treat. The diagnosis is accepted grudgingly and kept from others, though it can be disclosed when necessary. ### Second support: understanding of the psyche The second support of psychic literacy is an understanding of how the human psyche is built, that is, psychoanalysis. It is the lack of it that allows a non-existent diagnosis to be pinned on a person. ### Distant Perimeter The third perimeter of the personality: people seen rarely, sometimes once in a lifetime, who still shape the close line; for many psychotypes this very circle commands their life. ### Flows of National Aggression The third and largest level of aggression flows by scale: aggression on the scale of an entire people. ### Heavy disclosure group The third disclosure group, the one PPM falls into: the patient cannot accept the diagnosis, because the very thought of it drives him into an Open Fit, while a psychically illiterate society reacts very badly. ### Level 3. External The third level of corporate aggression: a large share of the flows goes outward into competition, while inside only socially acceptable forms of aggression remain. ### Third support: knowledge of psychology The third support of psychic literacy is knowledge of psychology strung onto the AHM classification; knowledge of the classification itself does not count here. Without it the faint details that decide a psychotype slip away. ### Fourth support: experience The fourth support of psychic literacy is experience, measured not in absolute terms but relative to talent: the gifted gather it fast, while for the inept or for a PPM it can be zero or even negative. ### Level 4. Absolute The fourth level of corporate aggression: the collective's aggression is recast into a fight against one absolute enemy, a grave disease or a large world problem. Low psychotypes here are few. ### Outer Perimeter The fourth perimeter of the personality: media and chance people whose contact is unlikely to repeat. It is dense with PPM carriers who feel free to spill their symptoms onto strangers. ### Beyond the Perimeter The fifth level of the personality's perimeter: the zone everyone showing tentative signs of PPM is moved out to. It is past the Outer Perimeter that the level of external aggression becomes visible. ### Fifth support: everything else The fifth support of psychic literacy is the remaining factors: the specialist's applied life experience, the ability to grasp new fields quickly, and the patient's own system of values. ### Level 5. Highest The highest level of corporate aggression: a company of GCM psychotypes, where there are no symptoms and flows of aggression between healthy psyches are impossible in principle. ## 24. Psychic scenarios A composite symptom set hard into a plot: triggering the first step switches on all the rest, and from then on it repeats itself. Each scenario has its own name, its own engine and its own way out. Source: AHM, volume 2 ### Endless scenario of retribution The heaviest scenario lying in the subconscious of the Aggressive Group: a single episode of someone else's aggression serves for years as justification for endless payback, and the exchange of blows has no end. ### Cyclic scenario of retribution The same exchange of blows, but with a barrier: the psychotype understands that a blow can be answered. Once the other side starts answering blow for blow, the exchange winds up and the cycle easily turns into the endless one. ### The hamster wheel scenario An endless race for a higher place, with which a PPM carrier screens off his own problems with the psyche. It differs from healthy growth by its trigger: not for the sake of the work, but to outrun someone. ### Black-and-white scenario A feature of the PPM psyche: the inner world is glued out of "good for me" and "bad for me", and it does not look for complex correlations outside — it merely remembers after which contact things went badly and stops that contact. ### Self-destruction scenario A psychic scenario in which suppressed aggression is turned, time after time, against the person themselves. The subconscious holds to the conviction that things "must be bad", and other people's successes regularly turn into misfortune — from accidents to a broken state of health. ### The anyone but me psychic scenario A scenario formed by watching pornography and erotica: the link "as if I possess it, but will never get it" wires the neural networks for failure and switches on in real life when one needs to be liked by a worthy person. ### The higher breach psychic scenario A breach at the higher levels of the psyche: the inspiration that arises leaks into telling about a grand plan instead of doing the work, the resource goes overboard, and no idea is ever carried through. ### The constant watch psychic scenario A scenario of vigilance with two sides: with skill it yields early reaction and answering psychotherapy; without skill it yields compound symptoms that make a person look around and panic for no reason. ### Psychic Set-up A scenario used by Aggressive Group PPMs of the Near and Far line: a crime is arranged so that an innocent person takes the blow and the trial, while the organiser stays unpunished. ### VPECH scenario of the AG: injuring the Child's Psyche The most direct and crude key of the Aggressive Group to someone else's psychic energy: to break, humiliate, devalue and ruin the plans of anyone who is shining. ### VPECH scenario of the PG: feeling one's own greatness The Superiority Group's key is not someone else's injury but a confirmation of superiority: flattery, submission, admiration, compliance with its conditions, formal status. A performed ritual of recognition is enough. ### VPECH scenario of the EG: doing something good The Empathic Group's key is a good deed, including a service rendered to an AG PPM: comforting the aggressor, justifying him, talking the Victim out of defending herself. ## 25. Popular psychology The labels people arrive with («he is a narcissist», «she is an empath») and the PPM groups standing behind them. None of these labels is an AHM diagnosis, and stage 2 is not a character. Source: AHM, volumes 1 and 2 ### Sociopath The popular name for a PPM AG. «Sociopath» and «psychopath» stand for one and the same group — the Aggressive one; popular psychology splits them by impulsiveness, but an AHM diagnosis has no such split. ### Psychopath The popular name for a PPM AG — the same thing as «sociopath». Unreasonable Aggression prevails: the «bacilli of idiocy», the carrier of PPM. The shades of behaviour are described by stages 3–4 (contact type, crutches), not by the label. ### Histrionic The popular name for a PPM EG — the same thing as «empath»: demonstrative kindness that needs an audience. Wants to look kind. ### Empath The popular name for a PPM EG: the first reaction to everything is Unreasonable Empathy. In popular psychology it sounds like a virtue; in AHM it is a group of PPM and the aggressor's main instrument. ### Narcissist The popular name for a PPM PG: Unreasonable Greatness (UG/MDS), «wants to look grand», constantly needs to recharge on KOMs. ## 26. Glossary The remaining AHM abbreviations in alphabetical order: the ones that did not fit the sections above but do turn up in the books, in diagnoses and in practitioners’ talk. Source: AHM, volumes 1 and 2 ### OS — Fire of Conscience The fire of shame that lights up inside a PPM once it understands that it has done something unworthy. ### AHM — Alphabet of the Human Mind The classification of the human psyche set out in the two books: a glossary of abbreviations plus the classification of psychotypes, symptoms and flows. The language every other term in this reference is written in. ### AHM1 — Volume One classification The first book's classification — dozens of psychotypes. Precise enough for an approximate diagnosis: marketing, hiring, everyday contact. A diagnosis is sharpened by moving from AHM1 to AHM2. ### AHM2 — Volume Two classification The second book's classification — hundreds of psychotypes: the same order taken one level lower in abstraction, where the transitions between aggression, empathy and greatness become visible. ### CHP — Human Psyche The human psyche as AHM's subject, and its levels: the higher the level, the graver the trauma inflicted there. Faith and inspiration live on the upper levels, and raising them with a PPM almost always sets off an Open Fit. ### CHS — Worm of Conscience There is a saying that worms gnaw at the conscience. CHS is one of the symptoms of a PPM. ### DBCH — Mentally Ill Person A person with a sick psyche. There is no hundred-percent PPM: even a DBCH can think and act sensibly, so a diagnosis rests on the prevailing judgement, not on a single act. ### DI — Dereflectation of Idiocy The undoing of Reflex Idiocy (RI), which makes a PPM reject anything new connected with you and slip into OF at the mere thought of you. Therapy is hardly possible until ZF is reached, and RI is recommended as part of the diagnosis. ### LP — Personal Space Personal space. Its full form is LPCH, the Personal Space of a Person; the crossing of its borders by surrounding PPMs is one of the reasons the Aggressive Mask (AM) gets put on. ### MDS — Manic-Depressive Syndrome The first symptom of the PG and the same thing as Unreasonable Greatness (UG). While it feels its greatness such a PPM behaves more adequately than any other group and takes therapy well, because it does not attack every OSS the way an AG does. ### MPP — World Production Potential The combined production power of the world, also called the Production Potential of the System. Its growth keeps societies and companies afloat even with PPM everywhere and low psychoanalysis in their people. ### MV — Mania of Greatness A PPM sees something in others and envies, looks into an inner world PPMs do not have, takes fright and grabs a KOM at once: a victory for the AG, Unreasonable Greatness for the PG, Unreasonable Empathy for the EG. The AG is the most dangerous of them. ### PB — Psychic Blockade Surrounding a person with other people's symptoms in order to break him — a word carried from warfare into psychology. It closes most often around a child and around talent: the brighter the talent, the tighter the ring. ### PS — Primitive Judgement A short, concrete judgement — the unit of YAPS. The generic name of the format: in a sick psyche it is a KPS, in a healthy one a deliberately built SYAPS. ### Psyche instead of soul AHM advises replacing the word soul with psyche when speaking to people inclined to PPM. A phrase like he sold his soul can push a PPM into OF, while they stole my healthy psyche sounds objective and is clear to very many. ### PZL — Mentally Healthy People The mentally healthy as a class, the plural of PZCH. A PPM who has mastered his KOMs looks like a PZL, but only copies their behaviour in familiar places and situations. ### Three groups of importance The abbreviations fall into must remember (AHM, PZCH, PG, EG, AG, the ones on the cover), better remember (OSS, KPS, GCM, PPM, UA, UG, UE, KOM, PECH, GCH, ZF, OF, EOP, YAPS) and need not remember (VPKOM, SNO and the like). ### TSBZP — Table of Correspondence between the Sick and the Healthy Psyche The AHM table where every judgement of a sick psyche meets its healthy counterpart on the same level: stupidity against mind, delusion against wisdom, idiocy against inspiration. It is what grades a KPS or an OSS. ## Nearby - https://hub4psy.com/alphabet — The scheme vocabulary: the same psychotypes and flows, drawn - https://hub4psy.com/language — The scheme language: how to write a scheme as lines and hand it to a model - https://hub4psy.com/psymodeler — The modeler: build a scheme of your own - https://hub4psy.com/books — The AHM books
